Imported Graphic
Imported Graphics is a plug-in for FrameMaker that is supplied and installed with the FINALYSER.
It can be used to:
1. restore the original size of a referenced or copied graphic.
2. export a copied graphic.
3. replace a referenced graphic by a copy
4. scale without deformation.
After correct installation, the system loads Imported Graphic automatically when you start FrameMaker.Now, the Imported Graphic is entered in the FINALYSER menu in FrameMaker’s menu bar.Imported Graphic will only be active if a graphic (no group) has been selected.
You use the plug-in Imported Graphic as follows:
1. Activate the document file that you want to edit.
2. Select the graphic you want to work on.
3. Restore original size:Click on Imported Graphic > Original Size..
The dialog box Imported Graphic Scaling only opens for bitmaps click Assign without changing the dpi-presettings.
The original size can not be determined for all copied graphics. If a graphic format has not been implemented in Original Size, the following work around could help: export the graphic and import it again using File>Import>File...). Condition: the graphic format must be implemented in Export.
4. Export to file:click Imported Graphic>Export....
Only export of copied graphics.
Standard Save file dialog to choose file name and folder.
An appropriate error message is shown if the graphic format has not been implemented.
5. Replace referenced graphic by copy: Click Imported Graphic>replace by copy..
The current size will not be changed.
You want to replace all referenced graphics: Use Adapt Imported Graphics .
6. Scaling without deformation: Click on Imported Graphic>Scaling...A scroll list offers the following options:
Width: Enter the new width in mm, the height will be adjusted.Format: nnnnnn[.nnn].
Height: Enter the new height in mm, the width will be adjusted. Format: nnnnnn[.nnn].
Frame: Adjust to the graphic frame measurements (anchored or unanchored frame). The graphic’s width or height will be set equal to the frame’s width or height. The scaled graphic will be located in the center of the frame.
